I'm Jamile Yoko Iyomasa, Brazilian watercolorist, currently based in Tokyo, where my atelier is also located.

I started my activities as an artist in 2018 and since then I have been developing artworks that always involving  water, color, hand-cut paper and a good story.     

About the people I've meet along the way, this is what I like the most: having a good conversation, understanding their motivations, their life experiences, the way they look and feel the world around them.
So, I do my part and rewrite in color and form, the stories I hear.

Nature is a clear inspiration and it is around it my creative world revolves. It is in the observation of its cycles, and through the expression of its colors and shapes that I always find shelter, wisdom and beauty_.
